![]() The only thing that I found to have worked at all was disabling pointer precision in the Windows mouse settings, but that makes it hard for me to use the mouse normally and doesn't answer the question of why this only happens with steam open. ![]() I can provide DxDiag information if necessary. My mouse (which is wireless) has the latest drivers and I am running a 64-Bit Windows 10 gaming laptop. This has lead to be being reported in other games for "spin botting". When playing games, my camera will randomly spin around very quickly and do 3-4 full rotations in the matter of half a second. This means that the problem is likely not with my mouse pad or track pad. When Steam isn't running, the mouse works perfectly fine. The twist is the it only occurs when the Steam CLIENT in running on my machine. It's really annoying and makes it much harder to play Steam games. ![]() My mouse cursor occasionally jumps around the screen, like to an edge or a corner. So before I start this post, I'd like to mention that I've seen many different variations of this problem on the web, all with solutions that don't work for me.
